  • So, in the end, did you get it to work again? What about that cookie? Me too, have been using mint since october, and just recently upgraded. Now I don't get any updates anymore, while I know I did get visitors (though google analytics). I love mint, and its peppers, I want it to get working again.
  • I'm happy to say I did get it going. I lost my stats, but that's the price I pay for not backing things up!

I had to delete the tables in my database, delete the mint files, and reupload and recreate the database. Then I made sure the base install was working, and added each pepper back in, one at a time. I left off two peppers, because I didn't see them as particularly valuable for my site - Freshview and Sparks, I believe. One thing I did notice is that if a certain pepper breaks things, sometimes removing that pepper isn't enough to fix everything.

I suggest trying that - blow everything away, delete your cookies, reinstall and see if the base install works.

One last thing - you did update the javascript didn't you? Mint uses a different format for 1.2 than previous versions did (ie, it doesn't reference a .js file anymore).

Let me know if you need more help. The Mint forums are really useful too.
  • Aha, it uses a different js? No i didn't update the mint includes!
Thanks, I'll check that out first. (should have gone all the way through the README file, it says to rename to /mint/?js)
